94% recommends VEO as a workplace.

VEO is a popular place to work, which also showed in our personnel survey conducted in 2017. On top of many other positive attributes, our employees see VEO as a reliable and flexible employer, and as many as 94.3% of the respondents would recommend VEO as a workplace. Important to us is our low absence rate, which in 2017 was 2.9%.

Last year we hired 47 non-fixed-term employees, 15 fixed-term employees and 100 trainees to our headquarters in Vaasa. The number of trainees is particularly substantial, seeing that the Vaasa office permanently employees 350 professionals. VEO has a strong interest in securing the best expertise at a young age and we consider our 100 young experts to be an investment in the future. For 2018, we see an unchanged need for skilled professionals, as our business keeps growing on all frontiers.
